A fantastic Opportunity has arisen for a self motivated, driven Business Development Manager

This is for an International well established company for their UK and Ireland Business.

They are looking forward to developing this further together with you. This is a field-based position with a requirement to attend the Milton Keynes Head Office on a frequent basis (approximately 2-3 times per month). This is a national coverage role.

Business Development Manager – Logistics & Non-Food Sectors (Field Based)

Role Overview:

As a Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and expanding our presence within the Non-Food and Logistics Market Sectors. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring seamless integration of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets.

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new sales opportunities to achieve quarterly sales targets.

  • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs and competitive landscape.

  • Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (such as product development and customer support) to ensure alignment and delivery of solutions that meet client requirements.

  • Sales Execution:

  • Initiate contact with potential clients, set up meetings, and conduct compelling product demonstrations.

  • Present customised solutions to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value propositions and benefits of UK products and services.

  • Prepare and present quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales deals.

  • Market Expertise:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors to provide strategic insights and recommendations.

  • Continuously improve knowledge of products and services to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within the Non-Food or Logistics sectors is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively convey complex technical information.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset to evaluate options and drive results.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within the capital equipment or technology solutions industry.
