We are currently looking to hire an IT Network & Infrastructure Engineer Apprentice.
As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to develop your IT skills in a number of areas including Cloud based Technologies, Business Operations, Consultancy and Managed Services.
Whilst training will be provided, work experience in a similar role would be advantageous
This role presents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and highly motivated individual who is keen to develop their skills in a fast-growing Company that works with a range of Technologies.
Duties:
- Set up, maintenance and troubleshooting Microsoft windows computers
- Installation and configuration of software
- Set up and configuration of other peripherals
- Documenting issue resolution using the Company's ticket management system
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining the Company's network infrastructure
- You'll work closely with Senior IT Network and Infrastructure Engineers to troubleshoot issues, optimise network performance, and ensure seamless connectivity
- Maintaining excellent spoken and written communications with End Users
- Working with IT Suppliers as required
Desirable skills:
- Experience of using and configuring laptop and desktop computers
- Some basic of networking and protocol knowledge, e.g. DHCP, DNS, VPN
- Knowledge of working with Microsoft Windows server is beneficial

Essential:
Having a full driving licence and your own vehicle is required - as the role involves travelling.
Entry requirements:
- an A-Level in ICT
- OR an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 ICT
- OR an A-Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject
- OR a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
