About the Role:

Are you an experienced Property Manager looking to take on a new challenge in North London? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Manager to join a thriving property management team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties, ensuring exceptional standards of maintenance and tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of properties across North London, including residential and commercial units. Ensure all properties are maintained to a high standard and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Tenant Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for tenants. Address and resolve tenant inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Property Maintenance: Oversee and coordinate maintenance and repair work. Arrange for routine and emergency repairs and ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Lease Administration: Handle lease agreements, renewals, and terminations. Conduct regular property inspections and manage the check-in/check-out process for tenants.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and handle rent collections. Provide regular financial reports and ensure cost-effective management of property resources.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure properties comply with all relevant legislation and regulations, including health and safety, fire safety, and landlord obligations.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to property owners and stakeholders regarding property status, tenant issues, and financial performance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including maintenance staff, administrative personnel, and external contractors, to ensure efficient property management operations.

About You:

  • Experience: Proven experience in property management, with a strong understanding of residential and commercial property operations.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with property management software, lease agreements, and relevant legislation, including health and safety regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle tenant and landlord relations effectively. Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Qualifications: Relevant property management qualifications or certifications are preferred.
