Role: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Merseyside
Type: Full or Part Time Temporary (May consider permanent)
Rate: £30 - £35 per hour (35 hours per week paid)
Eden Brown are looking for an enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher on behalf of a leading sixth form college in Merseyside.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality A-Level Computer Science lessons, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in students.
You'll develop engaging lessons that cover programming, algorithms, data structures, and other core areas of computer science, while also preparing students for their A-Level exams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive A-Level Computer Science lessons.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Support students with their coursework, projects, and exam preparation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop the Computer Science curriculum.
What Were Looking For:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
- Teaching experience at A-Level or equivalent
- A recognised teaching qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Passion for Computer Science and a desire to inspire young learners.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A DBS will also be needed for this role. If you do not have a currrent DBS Eden Brown can apply for one on your behalf.
