- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 1am to 10pm
- £33,347 - £38,209 per annum
The position of Class 1/2 Day Driver involves:
- Making deliveries and collections to and from businesses and private addresses around the South West and the London region.
- Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
- Planning route on a day to day basis.
- Complete daily vehicle checks on your company phone.
- Working closely with the network hubs.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations.
- Attending regular training sessions.
Essential skills for Class 1/2 Day Driver:
- Must have a UK Class 1/2 (C/E) Driving Licence.
- Previous bulk liquid driving experience is desired
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Working to deadlines.
- Confident, polite and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
