Credit Control Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Credit Control Supervisor to join our expanding credit function! Dealing with Trade and Commercial customers you will work closely with the Group Credit Control Manager to lead the team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop the credit control team including regular One to One's
  • Work closely with sales and customer support to address credit related issues and resolve disputes
  • Escalate debt balances both internally and externally to ensure correct and timely collection.
  • Assess and approve credit facilities in line with the credit policy
  • Process and reconcile accounts receivable invoices and statements
  • Manage own ledger of key account customers
  • Monitor set KPI's and SLA's to ensure compliance
  • Act as first point of contact for Group Credit Manager to triage issues effectively
  • Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Group Credit Manager in line with your role and responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

A keen influencer and team player, you will seek to build effective relationships in a commercial environment to ensure that risk and exposure is minimised through collaborative working.

Essential

  • 2 years Experience in a supervisory Credit Control role
  • Strong understanding of credit control principles, practices, and regulations
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities
  • B2B Collections experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Desirable

  • Experience in B2C collections
  • Change management experience
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Dynamics..
