Fire and Water Damage Technician
My client is a well established response business working with the high net worth insurance sector. Seeking a Senior Technician with experience of assessing the damage caused by fire and water and provide a scope of works to mitigate the damage and restore the property. The role will come with a vehicle, uniform and all tools of the trade and you will be based from home going to site when required. Sites can be across London and the home counties.
The responsibilities will include:-
- Attend fire and water damaged properties and assess the damage and provide a scope of works to mitigate the damage and restore the property
- Install drying programs and other equipment
- Assist and mange stripping out of properties
- Perform risk assessments and health and safety at the property
- Write detailed reports showing action taken and schedule of work required
We are looking for an experienced person:-
- With at least 2 years experience within a similar business
- Excellent grasp of written and spoken English
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassion
- A strong grasp of plumbing processes and also building and construction would be useful.
