- Business Intelligence Analyst
- West Yorkshire - Hybrid working but expected to be on-site 1-2 days per month
- £450 per day (Inside IR35)
Our client in West Yorkshire is currently on the lookout for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to play a key part in the development and delivery of visualisations and drive the business performance to the next level. You will be providing high quality analysis to the data analytics team and helping in key areas such as research and innovation.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Leading analyses of internal and external datasets to evaluate performance and highlight strengths and weaknesses
- Working alongside other Business Intelligence Analysts ensuring a high quality service is met and deadlines or met
- Souring data, performing analysis and presenting insights and findings and giving recommendations to stakeholders
- Contributing to the maintenance of key self-service data-visualisations and working with the organisations new data service to transition reference data-sets
- Manage staff training on the MI reports and analytical outputs produced by the team
The following skills and experience will be essential for the role:
- Experience of working in an analytical function or as part of a team providing business intelligence
- Experience of drawing insight from data, using data visualisation, statistical or data science techniques to support strategic decision making
- SQL, Python or other programming languages to transform and analyse data
- Business Intelligence tool, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Working with key stakeholders, managing projects whilst demonstrating excellent communication and team working skills
