Accountancy Action are recruiting an experienced Temporary Accounts Assistant for a business based in Stevenage.
This role is paying between £12ph - £14ph based on experience with hybrid working available.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and processing incoming transfers to the company's bank accounts
- Assisting with expenditure entries and bank reconciliations
- Maintaining and updating databases and records
- Supporting the preparation and handling queries related to Annual Fee invoices
- Managing client account issues, including overdrafts and draw down balances
- Reviewing and processing invoices and payment requests
- Contributing to the preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports
- Assisting with external audits
- Maintaining the accounts team inbox
Requirements:
- Graduate (or equivalent), preferably with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounts or finance department, particularly in a client-based industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in IT, including MS Office (Excel is essential) and accounting software
- Available immediately
