We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a Primary School in Little Hulton, Salford. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with class teachers to provide support and guidance to students, ensuring that every child can access a high-quality education.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and stimulating lessons
- Providing support to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including those with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties
- Monitoring and recording the progress of students, ensuring that interventions are implemented where necessary
- Building positive relationships with students and their families, promoting a positive learning environment
- Contributing to the wider school community, including supporting with extracurricular activities and events
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School setting
- Knowledge and understanding of the Primary School curriculum
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
- Enchanced DBS on the Update service and right to work in the UK
