Job Role: Maintenance Planner
Location: Southall, West London
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum
We are delighted to be recruiting for a Maintenance Planner on behalf of one of our market leading food manufacturing clients.
The role is responsible for creating and ensuring the maintenance plans are carried out effectively and within a timely manner. This is a pivotal role within a friendly engineering team, with the opportunity of future fast track progression into a supervisory/management role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning of all the maintenance activities, ensuring that the maintenance work complies with statutory and local engineering standards and requirements.
- Use Engineering experience to ensure best utilization of resource and equipment to meet business goals.
- Generate fortnightly plans for personnel and other relevant groups, applying relevant preventive criticality where applicable.
- Attend weekly planning meetings to discuss and develop work schedule.
- Management/tracking of work orders to completion and coordination of backlog work.
- Develop/review of standard job plans to ensure a consistent approach is delivered for repetitive jobs.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure the efficient operation of equipment and facilities.
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance work orders, ensuring that they are completed in a timely manner.
- Monitor and track maintenance work and provide regular updates to management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records, including equipment manuals, service history, and work orders.
- Maintain and update engineering filing systems, both electronic and physical, to ensure easy retrieval of information.
- Coordinating work performed by outside vendors.
- Site CMMS champion
Experience required:
- Knowledge of working with CMMS systems
- Experience working within a similar role, ideally within the food manufacturing industry
