Position: Temporary Payroll Advisor
Location: Northampton City Centre
Duration: Immediate Start - 1 month minimum
We are looking for an immediately available Temporary Payroll Advisor to play a crucial role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to work in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service and handling complex payroll tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- Collaborate with Payroll and HR Operations teams.
- Investigate and resolve potential overpayments and errors.
- Manually enter payroll information into the ADP Global View system.
- Maintain employee payroll records, including P45, Tax & NIC data, and changes.
- Handle court orders, union memberships, student loans, and other deductions.
- Address payroll queries via phone and ticketing system (SNOW).
- Support sites with payroll issues and maintain good relationships.
- Prepare payroll reports and generate ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Adhere to payroll policies, procedures, and GDPR regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience with complex payroll systems and high employee volumes.
- Knowledge of HMRC legislation and compliance.
- Strong customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
- Intermediate skills in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Positive and professional attitude with confidentiality.
