You will also lead and mentor the HR Assistant and HR Advisor, ensuring they are supported in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Leaders: Provide proactive HR support and coaching to people managers and senior leaders, helping them navigate challenges related to performance management, organisational change, and employee relations.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including payroll management in collaboration with the Finance team, ensuring smooth processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Champion Change: Participate in and lead HR projects, driving positive change and helping the business adapt to a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Employee Relations: Handle a wide range of employee relations cases, ensuring fair and effective resolution across different regions and legal environments.
  • Policy Development: Offer your expertise in shaping and implementing HR policies and procedures, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of a global business.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up with the latest developments in employment law and HR best practices, sharing insights with your team and the wider business to drive continuous improvement.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilise HR metrics to provide informed guidance on people-related issues, ensuring the business is making decisions based on solid data.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven HR Expertise: Recent proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within an international, multi-site organisation.
  • Business Partnering Experience: A strong background in working closely with managers and leaders to deliver impactful HR solutions that align with business goals.
  • Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Global Perspective: A solid understanding of UK employment law, with exposure to international HR practices being a distinct advantage.
  • Problem Solver: A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, able to handle ambiguity and drive HR initiatives that support business objectives.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office, with experience in using HR software or ATS systems to streamline HR processes.
  • Professional Accreditation: CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
