Caretaker
CantelloTayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Caretaker to join our client based in Englefield Green.
The successful Caretaker will:
- Repair doors, windows, and general building installations (shelving, display boards, flat pack)
- Have basic plumbing and electrical skills (managing blockages, leaks, lightbulbs, minor installation, and repair)
- Supervise contractors where in-house repairs are not possible
- Undertake cleaning requirements as directed
- Undertake the netting and cleaning of the site pools and water features
- Maintain then external furniture and play equipment
- Maintain the appearance of premise (pressure washing external areas, remove debris/leaves/foliage/bird waste etc)
- Ensure the Health and Safety regulations, policies and procedures are observed
The successful Caretaker will have:
- Experience in maintenance roles, undertaking repairs and general DIY knowledge
- Experience of managing own workload and making operational decisions
- The physical capability required for lifting and manual labour
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Willingness to work out-of-hours on an occasional basis and demonstrate flexibility around working hours during the summer and when the client is in residence
- Must hold a clean UK Driving Licence and be willing to work across other sites flexibly
Additional details:
- Working hours: 8.00am- 5.00pm
- Working days: Normally Tuesday to Saturday with flexibility required during the summer months
