Payroll Analyst - £45,000 - £47,500 + Bonus - Canary Wharf

Frazer Jones are delighted to be supporting a leading name within financial services on the recruitment of a Payroll Analyst to join on a permanent basis.

Our client is requiring you to be in the office 4 days per week.

  • Serve as the primary contact for payroll and benefits-related inquiries and manage the coordination of the European payroll inbox.
  • Assist in the daily processing of designated European payrolls, including tasks such as collecting and uploading payroll adjustments for each region into the payroll system.
  • Support the monthly payroll onboarding process by promptly adding new employees to the relevant country's payroll.
  • Assist with the monthly payroll offboarding process by processing departing employees from the relevant country's payroll in the month their employment ends.
  • Facilitate the processing of non-standard payroll tasks across the region.
  • Handle payroll administration for maternity, paternity, adoption, and shared parental leave.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of statutory reporting documentation in each European country where centralised payroll is managed (e.g., P60s, P11Ds, ERS reporting).
  • Collaborate with the global team on payroll-related projects, including payroll system implementation and transitions.
  • Periodically review and update payroll standard operating procedures (SOPs) in line with internal processes.
  • Ensure new employees are enrolled in and departing employees are removed from relevant benefit schemes, with updates reflected in payroll.
  • Gather benefit data for the annual compensation cycle.
  • Manage the list of benefit providers and ensure contact information is current.
  • Respond to payroll reporting requests, such as salary data, sickness absence records, holiday records, and bonus information.
  • Assist the Finance department with month-end and year-end payroll reporting, including the collection and analysis of relevant payroll data.
  • Support the global equities team with audits and reconciliations.
  • Aid in the annual payroll audit process.

Skills and experience needed:

  • Over 2 years of payroll experience.
  • Proficient in using "Workday" with a solid understanding of payroll processes.
  • Workday payroll experience is essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
