Finance Manager
South Norfolk (fully office based)
£40k-£45k (DOE) plus study support (if req.)
Our client, based in South Norfolk are seeking a Finance Manager. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance function and contributing to the ambitious growth plans of the business.
You will be studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA or qualified by experience, with 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting. Previous experience within a Manufacturing environment would be advantageous. You will have a keen eye for detail and strong problem solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly, half yearly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Monitor and analyse manufacturing costs, including materials, labour, and overhead.
- Support inventory valuation and management, ensuring accurate reporting of Levels and cost.
- Assist in costing and variance analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
- Assist in managing cash flow and working capital.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve payment and billing issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the finance function.
- Assist in the implementation of financial systems and software upgrades.
- Support the development and maintenance of internal control procedures.
