A Day in the Life of Software Developer:
- Implement new features and functionalities based on project requirements.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews.
- Identify and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in processes, tools, or workflows.
- Provide technical expertise on key projects.
Tools You'll Use as our Software Developer:
- Essential: Jira, Monday.com, ServiceNow, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams.
- Beneficial: Postman, Visual Studio, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Studio, Azure Storage Explorer.
Qualifications & Experience needed to be our Software Developer:
- Proficient in ServiceNow application development, support, and maintenance.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules like CSM, CMDB, FSM, ITSM, Asset Management.
- Practical experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Good understanding of UX/UI.
- Experience in a fast-paced SME environment.
Desirable but not essential qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Certification.
- Experience in programming languages like C# and JavaScript.
- Web development frameworks and libraries (React, Next.js, Blazor).
- Frontend web development experience (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
- Familiarity with server-side programming.
- Relational database experience (preferably Azure SQL Server).
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
- Experience with CI/CD.
