Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing:
- Process payroll accurately and on time, including salaries, wages, bonuses, and benefits
- Verify time sheets, attendance records, and other relevant data to ensure accuracy
- Calculate deductions for taxes, National Insurance contributions, pensions, and other statutory deductions
- Process adjustments, such as overtime, bonuses, or deductions for absences
- Handle complex payroll situations, including variable pay and deductions
Requirements:
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations when handling sensitive payroll information
- Prepare and submit statutory reports, such as PAYE, P60s, P11Ds, and Real Time Information (RTI) submissions
- Liaise with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) and other relevant authorities as necessary
