Are you a passionate and energetic PE Teacher seeking a new role for September?
Academics are a local supply agency and we're currently looking to recruit a PE Teacher for long term roles starting in the new academic year.
You will be responsible for teaching PE across KS3 and KS4 in either the short-term or long-term absence of the usual teacher.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain diverse teaching experiences within different settings.
We're looking for PE Teachers who are looking for either day to day/short-term work and those looking for longer term opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality PE classed to pupils across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs and abilities of individual students
- Encourage pupils to develop and improve their skills, physical fitness and teamwork abilities
- Promoting a love for Physical Education
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Liaising with school staff and parents to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience of teaching PE up to GCSE
- To be able to engage and motivate pupils
- Good classroom management skills
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or be willing to get one (cost applied)
