*Remote working model - our customer has modern office space available to their team in Cardiff. Whilst this role can be executed primarily on a remote basis, we feel that it would be beneficial to be able to travel to Cardiff from time to time, for the purpose of fostering a strong collaborative environment with the team.
Key to the success of this role will be:
- to find someone confident in leading people, with the ability to coach team members and help translate the board's vision and direction for the company into action, along with the Delivery team.
- someone with experience of meeting challenges head on and helping the business to succeed and grow.
We imagine that some of the key responsibilities which will lead to success in this role would be:
- to oversee the 'Delivery' function of the business, responsible for the effectiveness of Development, User Experience and Project Management teams.
- analyse delivery data, including utilisation and project budget data, to improve and increase profitable delivery.
- lead and manage the 'Heads Of' each Department to get the best from their teams, ensuring strong personal development plans are in place for all team members.
- be the primary escalation point for client feedback, delivery issues and resource challenges, whilst also using these learnings to implement solutions that build team member autonomy for the future.
- work alongside the board to communicate and implement company-wide improvements to help the business achieve their goals.
