We're seeking a skilled Human Resources Advisor to drive HR strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR and managers to handle casework (disciplinaries, grievances, performance, attendance, probation) in line with policies and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage litigation cases (Employment Tribunals, Personal Injury), gathering evidence, preparing statements, and supporting individuals through the process.
  • Build effective relationships with various stakeholders, including the Government Legal Department, Trade Union Representatives, and DfT departments.
  • Monitor and update casework management information, identify trends, and provide accurate monthly reports to senior management.
  • Work with managers and HR to review and execute case outcome recommendations, ensuring compliance with procedures.
  • Provide training to investigation, decision, and appeal managers; offer support as needed.
  • Maintain governance of casework, including records management, GDPR compliance, and legal budget oversight.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and provide coaching and support to managers.
  • Design and deliver toolkits to enhance management capabilities.
  • Support policy changes and updates to the Staff Handbook.
  • Assist HR Employee Relations Casework Managers with administrative tasks, invoice processing, and data handling in compliance with GDPR.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable HR experience, including the management of effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Level 5 CIPD
