Our client really does give the utmost in levels of service to their interesting high profile client base. They are looking for an experienced Senior Business Travel Consultant to join their team in an office based role in central London.
Senior Business Travel Consultant - What Will I Be Doing?
- Acting as the primary contact for corporate travel clients, both regular and ad hoc.
- You will be carrying out the process from start to finish - all the way through to the ticketing and the invoicing
- Managing the entire travel booking process, including flights, car hires, and transfers using Amadeus.
- Handling and resolving airfare issues, negotiating airline fares, and addressing any additional client requests.
What Experience Do I Need?
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Travel Consultant is essential
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in Amadeus and CRM platforms.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective negotiation skills and the ability to manage a high-volume workload with professionalism.
What Else Do I Need to Know?
Flexibility is essential; you'll need to be ready to take on new tasks and adapt to the changing needs of the business.
Some out-of-hours work and travel for events and trade shows will be required.
This is an office based role with potential for one day a week from home after probation.
The pay is up to £36k - £38k with extra pay for occasional work at weekends when the team take it turns to be on call. There is lots of opportunity to attend drinks receptions, property openings and nights out with the team. The client base is exciting and the team are professional and friendly and have good fun together.
