Due to a recent promotion and continued success of the business, we are supporting a global manufacturing firm with their search to appoint a Finance Business Partner to be based at their HQ in Wolverhampton. Salary circa £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
We are specifically interested in speaking with ACCA/CIMA finalists or newly qualified accountants with manufacturing accounting experience.
Overview of the Finance Business Partner position:
- Produce and analyse the Operations P&L, identifying variances to collaborate with production leaders on driving operational efficiencies. Support the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual operational forecasts.
- Manage the relationship with the third-party Distribution Center to optimise costs. This involves regular site visits and building a strong partnership with the provider.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly stock analysis and consolidated UK Sales and Margin reports. Maintain accurate standard costs, analyse variances, and oversee the perpetual inventory process, including the annual stock count.
Experience:
- Previous manufacturing accounting experience
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment, with strong communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
