Area Sales Manager
- Salary: Up to £50,000 + Bonus

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager with a strong background in business development within the construction industry. The role involves selling a high-quality range of automatic door and security systems to a variety of clients, including end users and contractors. The successful candidate will inherit a well-established area and will work closely with a dedicated specification sales team.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Focus on business development, selling automatic door and security systems.
- Engage with end users, façade contractors, security contractors, main contractors, and sub-contractors to drive sales.
- Collaborate with a specification sales team in a buddy system to enhance sales strategies and reach.
- Manage and grow an existing territory with a significant turnover.
- Handle projects of varying sizes and scopes, ensuring customer needs are met and sales targets are achieved.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven field sales experience in the construction industry, specifically selling to contractors.
- Ideally experienced in the automatic doors, sliding doors, security systems, barriers, swing doors, or access control sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop professional relationships.
- A hungry, go-getter attitude with a dynamic personality.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills.
