Maintenance Technician

About The Role
Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a maintenance technician ideally with plumbing experience with commercial/industrial bias.

The role will be to carry out Small Projects, Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Activities in accordance with our contractual agreements.

You will be working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, 45 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis.

Duties:

  • Experience of ground works in particular drainage and small plumbing works.
  • To support the delivery of small projects across the site.
  • To carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the company's PPM and task schedules to meet contractual needs.
  • Always carry out the works requested in a professional and proactive manner
  • To communicate clearly and effectively with other members of the team and managers.
  • Attending team meetings/briefings as requested (and courses as required to suit business needs)
  • Work to strict Health and Safety Procedures and Protocols including Permit to Work/Safe Systems of Work.
  • To escalate any major site issues or incidents to your line manager asap once noticed.
  • To assist in the management of Integral sub-contractors whilst working on site
  • Be flexible in your working day to adapt and overcome issues in a busy regional shopping centre.
  • To work as part of a team across all hard services disciplines and be flexible to your daily tasks.
  • Painting Decorating Internal and External as and when required to support workload of the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Health & Safety awareness is necessary.
  • Good understanding of Fabric/Building Maintenance in line with SFG20
  • IPAF/PASMA as an advantage
  • Emergency First Aid at Work
  • Driving Licence essential.
