Junior Technical Sales Engineer required for my client based in Maidenhead, who work within the sheet metal fabrication industry.
There customers vary within the industry sectors of; electronics, medical, telecommunications, retail and vending.

Junior Technical Sales Engineer Position Overview
- An office role within the commercial department primarily to maintain and improve account management with technical and commercial support to new and existing customers.
- Interpreting customer's requirements via technical drawings and customer communication to create and provide quotations.
- Liaising with customers to achieve the order.
- Processing of customer's orders and preparation of internal work instructions for manufacture.
- Coordination with internal departments in the factory regarding manufacturing processes to achieve customer requirements.
- Troubleshooting and manufacturing support.
Junior Technical Sales Engineer Position Requirements
- Good verbal/written communication skills.
- Have a level of technical understanding, not necessarily within the sheet metal or engineering industry, but with the ability, correct attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to discuss technical and aesthetic requirements with companies' customers.
- Candidates who have completed a technical (engineering-related) apprenticeship or engineering course or working in a technical 'hands-on' role would be ideal, but not essential.
- Commercial experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Be highly organised and able to respond in a timely and effective manner.
Junior Technical Sales Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary - £24,000 to £29,000 - dependent upon skill, qualifications and experience.
- Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Office based.
- 21 days holiday package + the 8 bank holidays on top.
