Assistant Financial Controller - £42,000 / £45,000 - Reading
An Introduction to the Company and Role:
Wade Macdonald are currently working with a fantastic company who are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the team as an Assistant Financial Controller. Reporting to our Financial Controller, you will play a key role in the financial management of the company and the execution of our financial strategy.
What will be the responsibilities in this role?
- Oversee daily operations of the Finance Team and provide financial support to senior managers.
- Supervise key financial sections and manage, train, and lead the finance team.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accurate general ledger postings.
- Prepare monthly journals, financial statements, and operating reports.
- Assist external and statutory auditors as needed.
What experience do you need?
- A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work-related experience.
- Over 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of finance, budgeting, and accounting processes and regulations.
- Experience with financial software such as Dynamic
