Accounts Assistant

Elevation Recruitment Group Accountancy & Finance are working with a fantastic business in the Doncaster area as they look to recruit an Accounts Assistant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the credit control process, with a focus on regularly reviewing debtor accounts and pursuing overdue payments
- Provide weekly updates on aged debts to the financial controller
- Handle sales ledger tasks, including the preparation and issuance of sales invoices and credit notes
- Perform daily cash book entries and reconciliations, ensuring all bank transactions are accurately posted and reconciled
- Manage purchase ledger activities, including the entry of supplier invoices and reconciliation against goods received notes where applicable
- Carry out general administrative tasks, such as scanning, filing, and assisting with incoming department calls
Experience and Skills Required:
- A proactive individual with strong communication and organisational abilities
- A detail-oriented and eager professional who works systematically and with great attention to detail
- Proficient in IT and administrative tasks
- Excellent communication skills, with a confident and professional telephone presence
- An exceptional eye for detail
