Base Location: Perth

Salary: £31,339 - £35,892 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

As a Control Centre Support Coordinator, you will be integral to our Distribution Control Centre operations, providing essential support to the management team. Your role will focus on ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, managing rotas to maintain optimal staffing levels, and coordinating necessary training for all team members.

Key responsibilities include: -

  • Upholding safety as a top priority across all operations and promoting the use of SSE Safety Licenses.
  • Managing standby rotas, processing holiday requests for approximately 100 staff members, and ensuring resource availability.
  • Assist in the processing of Purchase Orders, maintaining stock levels, and managing internal orders for necessary supplies.
  • Supporting ongoing management needs such as SharePoint resource requests and maintaining access to critical tracking systems.
  • Coordinating and maintaining training programs to ensure all team members are in compliance with required certifications.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • A strong understanding of safety rules, policies, and compliance requirements within the energy sector.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to manage data effectively.
  • Experience in supervising data entry and managing a range of ICT projects.
  • Ability to forecast workload and manage resources accordingly to meet operational needs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset capable of identifying patterns and anomalies in data.
