Axon Moore is partnering with a leading, PE backed SME based in West Manchester who, due to growth require an ambitious & forward thinking Management Accountant to join them on the journey.
Salary
- £40,000 - £45,000
Location
– Trafford
Hybrid
– 4 days in the office 1 from home.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and posting of journals.
- Preparation of accruals and prepayments.
- Maintenance of fixed asset registers and capital expenditure analysis.
- Preparation of accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of analysis of actual spend vs. budget.
- Preparation of weekly and monthly information for inclusion in cash flow forecasts.
- Work with operations teams to improve financial understanding of operational issues.
- Work with proprietary systems to understand commercial variance analysis
- Provide support to budgeting and forecasting process where required.
- Ad hoc reporting and projects.
Person Specification:
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Comfortable with high volumes of data.
- Good organisational skills – thorough and disciplined.
- ACCA/CIMA Finalist or QBE
- Previous experience with a similar, high volume Management Accounts role.
