What you'll do:

  • As a Customer Relations Officer, you'll be the vital link between our residents and the Chief Executive's Office (CEO).
  • Your role will be to manage resident inquiries and casework, ensuring that every voice is heard, and every concern is addressed with the care and attention it deserves.
  • You'll have the chance to participate in multi-disciplinary projects, contributing to the delivery of the council's vision for a fairer future for all.

Support with purpose:

  • In our fast-paced, high-stakes environment, you'll provide first-class, efficient support that keeps the CEO operating at its best.
  • You'll oversee a range of administrative and office functions, ensuring the smooth operation using your attention to detail, organisational skills, and proactive approach.
  • Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity.

How will you make an impact:

We need a dynamic and experienced Customer Relations Officer who is passionate about public service and driven to make a difference who will bring a blend of the following:

  • Proven Experience: Customer Relations with a track record of delivering high-quality outcomes ideally gained in a Local Government setting.
  • Technical Knowledge: Your experience and expertise in using Microsoft Office 365 will be crucial as you navigate our fully digital, agile workplace.
  • Strategic Communicator: Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will enable you to engage effectively with officers, members, and the public, ensuring that the Chief Executive's commitments to our residents are met with excellence.
  • Performance-Driven: You're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities with ease.
  • Discretion Assured: You will be discrete and able to deal with sensitive and confidential information professionally, as well as a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail, and your inclusive, empathetic approach ensures that everyone's voice is valued. With a growth mindset and a collaborative, can-do attitude, you'll be a perfect fit for our team.
  • Flexible Working: Enjoy a balanced approach with flexible home working, alongside occasional travel to our London Bridge HQ.
