Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising Police Officers on Arrest: Provide legal advice to police officers during arrest at the police station.
  • Out of Hours Rota: Participate in an out-of-hours rota 1-2 times per week, ensuring availability for urgent matters.
  • Caseload Management: Maintain a diverse caseload of criminal and misconduct files, with a focus on cases arising from officers you have advised at the police station.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Solicitor: Up to 2 years' PQE in a leading criminal firm.
  • Accredited Police Station Representative: Equivalent experience in criminal law.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate within a specialist team while maintaining a high standard of individual work.
  • Flexible: Willing to participate in out-of-hours work and adapt to the needs of the team.
