IT Support Engineer

IT Support Engineer wanted for a global client based in the Slough area.

The Technology Engineer will report to the Technology Lead and is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to end users

The role involves the setup, configuration, monitoring and problem resolution of the IT infrastructure used by our team.

Responsibilities:

Track, monitor and document end user issues to ensure resolution in timely manner through common request channels such as email, online chat and in person.

Administration of users email accounts, setup and login assistance and network access guidance.

Maintain an inventory of equipment and other IT assets.

Prepare and configure loan hardware for use by team Members.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all Technology equipment.

Initiate end user support sessions via phone or screensharing remote control to assist user set up and fault diagnosis.

Support common IT services such as GoogleApps, OKTA, Adobe etc.

Serve as a technical point of contact for all Crew Members and assist them with their technical needs.

Work closely with all our technical vendors (such as network providers, printer vendors and hardware suppliers),ensuring communication is effective and satisfactory resolutions are reached.

Willingness to travel to locations away for the purpose of onsite IT support.

Basic network understanding and configuration experience.

Familiarity with Mac and Windows operating systems.

Familiarity with Apple and PC hardware.

Exceptional time management skills, punctuality and reliability.

Agile approach to workload and works schedule, responding to the real time needs of the Production crews.

Google Workspace administration (Gmail, Gdrive, Docs, Sheets etc.)

Experience in a helpdesk or end user support environment.

Experience with device management systems such as JAMF.

Knowledge of audio-visual systems support

Previous experience within the film and television industry. WOULD BE HIGHLY BENIFICIAL
