Production Planner FTC/Contract 6 - 9 months Dublin (Airport location)
My client are market leaders in their field of package manufacturing, have an excellent reputation in the industry, and above all are good company to work for, this opportunity based at their Dublin site that specialises in secondary packaging specific to the Pharmaceutical and Beauty industry.
Central to our Client's success is their investment in staff: attraction, training, development and retention, all at the heart of their staffing vision, currently looking to appoint a Production Planner for a Fixed Term Contract/Contract. The Role Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Production Planner is responsible for ensuring that the supply of raw materials, production and capacity across our client's packaging plant, are in line with the demand from customers, whilst minimising lead times and cost.
Duties and Responsibilities
? Working with the Supply chain and Production planning teams using S&OP Processes
? Ensuring accuracy of forecasted demand by liaising Sales and Marketing on product trend and brand trend. ? To be accountable for the demand placed on Manufacturing and Purchasing by the Planning system. ? To highlight data inaccuracy to the accountable department and ensure correction to the demand. ? Advise Customer Service of any expected order delays due to Manufacturing or Purchasing
Essential Required skills, experience
? Minimum 2 yrs experience in a similar role within Manufacturing ? Expertise in statistical analysis of demand patterns ? Understanding of management of supply chain demand forecasting ?
