Maths Teacher

We are seeking a Maths Teacher for a "good" Ofsted-rated school in Cheshunt. This role begins in November 2024 and offers a potential transition to a permanent contract by January 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who are passionate about delivering high-quality mathematics education and are ready to engage and inspire a diverse group of students.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons that cater to a diverse student body.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to inspire and motivate students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the maths curriculum.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training, and school events.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Maths.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration.
