Role Title: SMART Metering SME
Duration: Initial 6 Months with scope for extensions
Home based position - Travel approx. once per week would be required.
Pay is open to discussion - Day Rate via Umbrella and PAYE options available.

Role Purpose:
- Ensure the business is technically and operationally ready to adopt and implement Smart Metering capability
- With relevant Partners, develop and implement IT Systems, process, and industry accreditation's
- Ensure the business follow and are aligned to all necessary industry and customer standards
- Full represented at all relevant and associated industry forum
A Typical Day Would Be:
- Establish SMART metering standards, both system and process and design ways to implement into the business
- Identify all requirements of becoming a Smart compliant business and develop associated solutions
- Collaborate with Supply chain partners in standing up capability and alignment to the business's Smart Metering capability
The key capabilities you will use every day are:

- Influencing and negotiating internally and externally
- Complex problem solving
- Stakeholder engagement and management
- Process design and implementation
- Ability to balance operational requirements against commercial constraints
The Essentials We're Looking For:
- Industry wide Smart metering knowledge from multiple stakeholder perspectives (manufacturers, installers, DCC, Customers)
- Experience of deploying Smart metering capability into an organisation
- Working on complex and technical projects
