Job Purpose
- Preparation and finalisation of accounts for owner managed businesses
- Ensuring timely completion of audits within agreed time allocation
- Preparation of tax computations for the same portfolio
- Reviewing VAT returns and other final documents to ensure accuracy
- Supervising junior staff, including review working and knowledge sharing
- Building trusted client relationships as their main point of contact, proactively handling queries
- Championing your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities
- Working directly with the Manager to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met

The Successful Applicant
- ACA or ACCA qualified with previous experience in practice
- Or AAT qualified and studying towards ACA/ACCA or with a desire to begin study
- Experience leading audits from planning to completion
- A hands-on team player who can also work autonomously
- Excellent work ethic, self-motivated, and reliable
- Exceptional communication skills and keen eye for detail
- Able to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties
- Good awareness of current affairs and solid commercial acumen
- A can-do attitude and a proactive problem solver
- Ability to work under pressure
