We are seeking a creative and organized Art Technician to support our vibrant art department at a dynamic school in Tower Hamlets. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for the arts and a desire to help foster creativity in young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up materials and equipment for art lessons.
- Assist teaching staff with practical demonstrations and classroom activities.
- Maintain and organize art resources, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure a safe and tidy working environment in the art rooms and studios.
- Support students with their projects, offering guidance and technical assistance.
- Manage stock levels and order art supplies as needed.
Essential Requirements:
- A passion for art and creativity.
- Experience working in an art studio, educational environment, or similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of various art techniques and materials.
