12 Month Maternity cover contract for a Learning Manager based in Bristol.

This is a great opportunity to join a FTSE 100 business who offer a collaborative culture, great working environment and a hybrid work pattern of 2 visits per month to Bristol. Salary is up to £60,000 + benefits.

This role reports into the head of Learning & Development and has direct line management responsibility of a team of three. The main focus of the role is on core safety learning supporting a headcount of 2000 people, driving the development of learning programmes to create and embed a high-capability culture.

As the Learning Manager you will work closely with the entire business to support the end to end learning cycle, designing, building, and delivering learning content, forming strong L&D frameworks that will allow people to develop and grow within their chosen pathways. You will work with key stakeholders to drive and upskill teams across the organisation focusing on the fundamental pillar of safety. Within the role you will be expected to design and deliver blended learning to include e-learning, virtual and face to face workshops. You will also be comfortable facilitating workshops and driving behavioural change in key safety areas. You will monitor and ensure all compliance training is in place and completed as well as keeping up to date on any new learning that is required due to legislation changes.

To be successful in this role you will have a proven background within a Learning Manager role ideally within a large orgainsation. You will have been responsible for building, designing and evaluating Learning content and programmes ideally within health & safety. You will demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills along with the ability to engage, influence and challenge across all levels. You will be highly organised with good attention to detail and presentation skills along with being an effective communicator. A key part of this role is line management of the team , you must have previous experience of management along with the ability to coach, upskill and develop people.
