We are seeking hard-working and committed individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants. It is an exciting opportunity to join an exceptional 11-18 co-educational comprehensive school that prides itself on high standards of achievement and a strong Christian ethos. We are dedicated to providing outstanding education and supporting our students to become well-rounded individuals.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Support students with additional learning needs, both academically and socially, to ensure they have every opportunity to succeed.
  • Work closely with the Inclusion department, led by the Head of Inclusion/ALNCo, and collaborate with specialist teachers.
  • Assist in small group sessions to help students develop basic skills.
  • Run daily lunchtime clubs open to all students, fostering an inclusive environment.
  • Attend regular departmental meetings and contribute to multi-agency meetings.
  • Take on key roles within the department, demonstrating communication, initiative, and flexibility.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A passion for working with young people and helping them reach their potential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of the department and students.
