The Role

Nigel Wright Recruitment is excited to support a dynamic business in their search for an Executive Assistant/Business Administrator. As an integral part of the Business Administration team, you will be essential in ensuring service excellence across multiple streams. The team provides vital support to various departments, including scheduling meetings, booking travel, managing accounts, and handling ad hoc projects.

Duties:

  • Gatekeeping diaries and keeping abreast of stakeholders' meeting schedules
  • Scheduling meetings, taking care of logistics and supporting with meeting preparation
  • Supporting the preparation of presentation materials
  • Screening calls, facilitating conference calls and managing ad hoc correspondence with external parties
  • Engaging with internal members of staff across all departments, at all times exercising a professional and approachable manner
  • Coordination of business travel, including booking transport and accommodation, and preparing itineraries
  • Supporting with the planning, logistics and execution of firmwide events
  • Conducting ad hoc projects, research, administration, and record-keeping
  • Working with members of the wider Business Administration and Executive Assistant teams to provide support to the firm as required.

Skills and Attributes

Skills/Attributes needed for the role:

  • Minimum academic requirements of 2:1 Bachelor's degree from a Russell Group university with good A-level grades (or international equivalents)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Very strong administrative and IT skills, in particular strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word skills
  • Experience of handling highly sensitive information with tact, diplomacy and discretion
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates a solution-oriented approach and a proactive attitude with the ability to maintain momentum towards objectives and deadlines
  • Demonstrates close attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities, prioritise and demonstrate a disciplined thought process and an ability to anticipate needs
  • Good team player, strong work ethic, confident and energetic
  • The ability to cooperate effectively with the wider Business Administration team
