Part Time Caretaker/Facilities Assistant/Maintenance Person
The COMPANY
Our client is an independent company who have carved themselves a niche supplying/designing powertrain components (exhausts, and other specialist Automotive components) to OE Automotive customers. Their reputation and expertise is such that many of the most prestigious manufactures utilise their services. We are proud to be an integral part of our client's continuing success which has resulted in a bulging order book and a recent expansion to a new purpose designed production facility. The ROLE
This part time maintenance position is an important and varied one within the organisation. Working 20 hours a week (over either 5 or 4 days no weekend work) starting at 7/7.30am. duties will include;
- Keeping yards clean
- De-icing in winter as required
- Removing weeds from the grounds
- Painting and decorating
- Basic plumbing and electrics
- Warehouse cleaning with automated floor scrubber
- Minor repair work
- PAT testing - training will be provided
The CANDIDATE
The right maintenance person will possess;
- General maintenance skills - carpentry, plumbing, basic electrics, etc.
- Good communication skills
- Excellent team player
- Enjoy working in a supportive team environment
- Take pride in doing a good job
- Driving license
The Package
In return our Client offers;
- Salary: £12.50ph
