Accounts Assistant - Entry Level
Are you an Accounting & Finance Graduate seeking your first accounts position? We have an exciting entry level Accounts role based with a well-established company in Basildon. This is a temporary-permanent role, and you must be available to begin immediately.
You must have a degree within Accounting & Finance and AAT Level 2, 3 or 4.
Full training will be provided and duties will include:
- Opening and credit checking new customer accounts
- Maintaining the mailboxes in relation to any queries
- Chasing overdue invoices and obtaining payment dates where possible
- Raising and sending out invoices and credit notes accordingly
- Allocating cash to customer accounts as per payments received
- Liaising with other members of the team and customers to resolve queries
- Ad hoc purchase ledger and accounts administration duties
This role will offer you a supportive team environment with on the job training and a clear progression pathway.
Salary 22k-23.5k DOE.
Hours are Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm and 7:30am - 1:45pm every Friday
Office based role, with free parking on-site
