JOB TITLE: Assistant Accountant
COMPANY: Manufacturer
CONTRACT: Permanent
HOURS: Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm
START: ASAP
SALARY: Up to £32,000pa
LOCATION: Fordingbridge

The role:
- The role will primarily be responsible for the maintenance of the purchase ledger and sales ledger as well as the reconciliation of the bank accounts
- Inputting large volumes of invoices in multiple currencies (c. 500 per month)
- Reconciling the company credit cards;
- Preparing the fortnightly payment runs;
- Preparing the monthly payroll;
- Assisting the Management Accountant in the preparation of the Management Accounts.
What You'll Bring:
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities;
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads to ensure all deadlines are met;
- Experience of working with multi-currency accounts would be an advantage;
- Ability to challenge existing processes and implement improvements;
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be useful but is not essential.
