Quantum Scholars is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded primary school in Weybridge for a Year 3 Primary Teacher position, starting in January 2025. This fixed-term role will run for 2 terms until July 2025, offering the opportunity to join a school with an Ofsted rating of 'Good' and excellent public transport links.
This role is ideal for a dedicated and passionate teacher looking to make an impact in a Year 3 classroom. The school fosters a nurturing and inclusive environment, encouraging creativity and active learning among its pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Year 3 students, in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies and share best practices.
- Engage with parents and carers to communicate student development and achievements.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience in teaching at the primary level, ideally within Key Stage 2.
- Strong knowledge of the Year 3 curriculum and strategies for child-centred learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to fostering a love for learning in students.
- Right to work in the UK is essential
