Your new company
This company are having along standing member retire from their accounts department and are now looking for a replacement on a temporary basis for the time being with a chance of a permanent role being available if this goes well.
Your new role
This role is looking after the basic finance needs including the invoicing on Sage, answering the telephone and resolving any queries which may arise, completing the payroll for the staff and any other ad hoc finance tasks which come up.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need some prior accounts experience working on a UK system, having had experience with Sage would be even better and then having a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle the responsibilities independently would make you a great fit.
