Job Type/Shift Patterns: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, totalling 37.5 working hours per week onsite.
Pay Rate: £14.53/Hr.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Band 5 Digital Facilitator to join our team at North View. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the digital literacy of our staff and patients, ensuring the effective adoption and utilization of digital technologies. This role involves identifying opportunities to streamline processes through digital solutions, providing comprehensive training and support to new staff, and developing innovative methods for information sharing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health services, be confident in using digital technology, and have experience in providing support and training in both technology-enabled and traditional processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Improve staff and patient understanding of digital technologies, boosting their confidence and motivation to use these tools to ensure widespread adoption.
  • Spot opportunities to use digital technologies to automate repetitive tasks and solve common issues, enhancing efficiency and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Provide comprehensive guidance and support to new staff, ensuring they are proficient and knowledgeable about all digital solutions from the start.
  • Act as an accessible resource for troubleshooting technical issues, advising on escalation pathways and resolutions when necessary.
  • Develop new methods for sharing information with patients and carers, moving away from paper-based solutions and promoting best practices across all wards and services at North View.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Solid understanding of mental health services and how digital technology can be applied in this context.
  • Confident with the use of digital technology and its application in healthcare settings.
  • Previous experience providing support, training, or guidance on processes and new ways of working, both with and without technology as an enabler.
  • Ability to identify new opportunities for digital solutions to improve workflows, solve problems, and share best practices.

Bachelor's degree in healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field.

Certifications in Digital Health, IT Support, or a related area are desirable.
