Our client is a growing company working closely with Capgemini to deliver diverse IT solutions across six UK sites. Due to an increased workload in their manufacturing and applications team, they are looking for a versatile IT Projects Support Specialist to join their team.

Role Overview
This is a home-based role with occasional travel to six sites across the UK. The successful candidate will support ongoing IT projects and take on various responsibilities to ensure the smooth delivery of services. You will be part of a small team working on multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on IT applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Support IT projects, including RDS/Citrix builds and migrations
- Assist in the migration of Q2C from Abbaca to SAP to ONP
- Move servers or migrate from current suppliers
- Transition local VMware stacks to Azure
- Oversee Health and Safety measures for CCTV network cabling
Essential Skills and Experience
- IT Support Experience: Hands-on experience in IT support roles, with a focus on application and infrastructure projects.
- Versatility: Comfortable taking on multiple tasks and willing to work on a range of IT projects.
- Eager to Learn: A proactive attitude with a desire to learn new technologies and applications.
- Willingness to Travel: Must be flexible to travel to various UK sites when required.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems like Abbaca and SAP
- Experience in server migration and virtualization technologies, particularly Azure and VMware
- Knowledge of Health and Safety standards for CCTV and network cabling
