Customer Service Specialist

Jo Holdsworth Recruitment are currently working with an industry leading company to help find a successful Customer Service Coordinator to join their busy and successful team. Working within the utilities industry, my client is well known for going above and beyond and providing an outstanding level of customer service. Due to growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Customer Service professional who can use their skills and experiences to deliver a high standard of service to each individual customer.

Customer Service Coordinators are expected to maintain relationships with their customers and understanding their needs, recommending solutions and taking orders. Some other responsibilities include:

  • Manage all inbound telephone calls and email enquiries to help assess customer's requirements, make recommendations, manage orders and give follow up support
  • Gain a technical understanding of all products and services within the business
  • Working closely with customers to figure out the best plan of action around their enquiry
  • Help to resolve queries and complaints to the satisfaction of the customer
  • Complete enquiry forms to a high standard as well as generating and sending out detailed quotations
  • Adding orders onto internal systems and making sure this is done accurately
  • Arranging delivery and collections of orders using the appropriate transport method
  • Obtaining proof of delivery from third party transport providers
  • Dealing with any invoice queries
  • Creating invoices and raising credits on relevant systems and posting to account package

Experience Needed

  • Strong customer service experience along with the ability to handle difficult calls/ problem solve any urgent issues
  • Experience of working in fast paced/demanding environments whilst often multi-tasking
  • The ability to plan and prioritise workloads
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication experience
  • The ability to work towards deadlines
