Opus People Solutions are recruiting a Digital Communications Officer to join an exciting Local Authority team in Huntingdon.
We are looking for someone with a proven record of creating engaging social media content as well as managing multiple channels and creating / editing video content.
Key deliverables include:
- Responsible for the ownership and management of the Combined Authority and Mayor of Cambridgeshire & Peterborough social media channels
- A social media native, with a passion for, and detailed knowledge of, digital communications and industry best practice.
- Editorial experience, knowing what makes a compelling story or engaging piece of content.
- Experienced in writing for digital platforms and their audiences
- Proven ability to create multimedia, multiplatform content including graphics, photography, and video for consumption on digital channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to turn complex policy issues into plain English in an engaging way and engaging digital content
- Helping to identify efficiencies and refine processes to improve digital output and delivery
